AlmaShines figures are "starts at" prices; its page also invites you to request pricing. Hivebrite's plans are billed annually and exclude its paid extensions. The script row runs from the script alone to the script with its donation and election add-ons.

What none of these numbers include.
What AlumDeck's $49 leaves out
- Hosting. cPanel hosting with PHP 8.3 and MySQL. Many associations already pay for it.
- Someone's time. An afternoon to install, an evening to import members, and a manual update a few times a year.
- A way to take money. AlumDeck records gifts but takes none, so any fees are charged by the bank or provider you already use.
- Help beyond email. There is no migration service, account manager or phone line.
What the published prices leave out
- Setup fees. Almabase charges a one-time setup and training fee (Almabase plans).
- Paid extensions. Hivebrite sells its app, extra languages, connectors and mentoring on top of each plan; its HubSpot and Salesforce connectors start at $5k a year (Hivebrite integrations).
- Add-ons. ToucanTech's app and accounting module, and AlmaShines' branded app, cost extra.
- Payment processing. Platforms that take money charge processor fees on it, which grow with what you raise.
Questions
About the calculator
Why are Almabase, Graduway, ToucanTech and Hoopstr not in the calculator?
They publish no price, and we will not guess one. Ask each of them for a five-year figure in writing, including setup fees, add-ons and the fees on money you raise, and put it next to these.
Does the AlumDeck figure include hosting?
No. AlumDeck runs on your own cPanel hosting with PHP 8.3, MySQL or MariaDB and one cron line. Type what you pay for hosting into the calculator; if your association already has a website on such hosting, it may cost you nothing extra.
What does $49 a year include?
Every feature, unlimited members and admins, every release published during your licence year, and email support from the people who build it. One licence covers one live site. The pricing page has the full list.
What happens if we stop paying for AlumDeck?
Your public site stays up and your data stays in your database. After a 21-day grace period, admin and member sign-in pause until the licence is renewed. Nothing is deleted.
Is there a refund if AlumDeck does not suit us?
Yes: a 14-day money-back guarantee. Before that, the live demo lets you try every feature without paying anything.
Where do the Hivebrite and AlmaShines figures come from?
From their own pricing pages, checked in September 2026: Hivebrite pricing (plans billed annually) and AlmaShines pricing ("starts at" monthly figures in rupees and US dollars). If a figure has changed, tell us through the contact form.
