Terms of sale, written to be read.

These terms cover buying an AlumDeck licence from Cerevonix FZ-LLC. They sit beside the licence terms, which say what you may do with the software once you have it. Where the two overlap, they say the same thing.

Who you are buying from

AlumDeck is sold by Cerevonix FZ-LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"), through alumdeck.com. You can reach us through the contact form. "You" means the person or organisation buying the licence.

What you are buying

A licence to install and run AlumDeck on one live site, for one year at a time, with every new version released during that year and email support. What you may and may not do with the software is set out in the licence terms, which form part of these terms. You are buying a licence, not a hosting service: AlumDeck runs on hosting you provide.

Price, tax and payment

The price is $49 a year, in US dollars, for one licence with every feature. There are no tiers, no add-ons and no per-member charges.

If tax applies to your purchase where you are, it is shown on the checkout page before you pay. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it and may charge a fee.

Payment is taken by Stripe on its own checkout page. We never see your card number.

Delivery

Once payment goes through, your licence key and your download link are emailed to the address you used at checkout, normally within a few minutes. The link keeps working for every release your licence covers. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then tell us through the contact form and we will resend it.

Renewal and cancelling

The licence renews automatically each year, on the date you first paid, at $49, and the same card is charged. If the price ever changes, we email you at least 30 days before a renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then.

You can cancel at any time through the contact form, or by replying to any email about your licence. We confirm by email. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep everything already paid for until the end of the licence year.

The 14-day money-back guarantee, and how to claim it.

Every payment, the first purchase and each yearly renewal, has a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 14 days of the charge, you get the full amount back, for any reason, and you do not have to show that anything went wrong.

  1. Write to us within 14 days of the charge

Use the contact form, pick Licensing and invoices, and say you would like a refund.

  2. Tell us which payment

The email address you paid with is enough. The licence key helps, but is not required.

  3. We refund it through Stripe

The full amount goes back to the card you paid with. We confirm by email; banks usually show the refund within 5 to 10 working days.

  4. The licence for that period ends

We withdraw the key, and you remove AlumDeck from your server. On an installed site, sign-in pauses after the usual 21 days, and the public pages keep serving until you take them down.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment is declined, nothing stops working. Stripe tries the card again over the next few days and emails you a link to update it. If the renewal never completes, the licence lapses at the end of the paid year, as described below.

If the licence lapses

Your public site keeps serving and your data stays in your database. After at least 21 days of grace, signing in to the admin panel and the member area pauses until you renew; signing out always works, and nothing is deleted. New versions and support stop until you renew. The licence terms have the detail.

Support

While your licence is current, support is by email through the contact form, with a reply within one working day, Monday to Friday. It covers installing AlumDeck on hosting that meets the published requirements, faults in AlumDeck, how its features are meant to work, and applying updates. It does not cover custom development, your hosting, or signing in to your server. The support page sets it out in full.

Your responsibilities

You provide hosting that meets the published requirements, and you keep it patched and secure. You are responsible for the data your members give your site, for your own privacy notice, and for fetching and restoring backups. You keep your licence key to yourself.

Warranty and liability

AlumDeck is supplied as it is. We do not promise that it is free of faults or that it suits a particular purpose, and it has not had an independent security audit. If it does not install on hosting that meets the published requirements, the money-back guarantee is your remedy within 14 days.

Our total liability to you for anything connected with AlumDeck is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, lost income or lost donations. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and if you buy as a consumer, nothing here takes away the rights the law of your own country gives you.

If we withdraw a licence

We may withdraw a licence that is shared, resold or bought fraudulently, or after a refund or a chargeback. Except in a case of fraud, we tell you first and give you 14 days to put it right. A withdrawn key will not install again, and sign-in on an installed site pauses after 21 days; the public pages are never switched off by us.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If something goes wrong, tell us first through the contact form, and we will try to settle it with you within 30 days. If we cannot, the courts of the United Arab Emirates will decide it. If you buy as a consumer, you keep any right the law of your own country gives you to bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

A change to these terms applies to purchases and renewals after it is published, never to a year you have already paid for. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Questions

Questions about buying

Can I get a refund after 14 days?

Not as of right. Outside the 14 days, a refund is at our discretion. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep what you have paid for until the end of the year.

Will the price go up at renewal?

The price is $49 a year. If that ever changes, the new price applies from a renewal at least 30 days after we email you about it, and you can cancel before then.

Can our finance office pay by invoice?

Checkout is a Stripe card checkout. If your finance office needs an invoice with our entity details, or has to pay another way, ask through the contact form before you buy.

Do you charge in other currencies?

No. The price is in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it and may add a fee.
