AlumDeck

Live demo · no form, no sales call

Sign in. Click anything. It resets tonight.

A real AlumDeck installation for Riverside College, an alumni association we invented, with 130 sample members. Both sign-ins are published below: one as the administrator, one as an ordinary member. Change whatever you like; every night it puts itself back.

130 sample members

Two accounts. Tonight's passwords.

The passwords change at every reset, so they are read from a small published file. Without JavaScript, the links open that file.

The demo puts itself back every night, and the passwords change with it.

Three things to try

  1. Find a classmateSearch the members-only directory by class year.
  2. RSVP to the reunionSay yes and get a QR ticket for the door.
  3. Add a memorySend an old photo to the archive for a moderator to approve.

Guided

Three longer walk-throughs.

Each one starts on a public page, so you can follow it before you sign in.

Walk-through 1 · events

Plan the Class of 2011 reunion.

See an event the way a classmate does, then the way the committee does.

  • Open the reunion page as a visitor: the date, the venue and the programme
  • Sign in as Priya, the member, and answer Yes: a QR ticket is issued
  • Sign in as the admin: the event shows live ticket and check-in counts, and the attendance list downloads as a CSV
Open the reunion page

Walk-through 2 · giving

Follow a gift from appeal to receipt.

AlumDeck records gifts that arrive however you already collect money, then does the paperwork.

  • Open the Library Restoration Appeal: raised, goal, gift count and donor wall
  • Sign in as the admin and record a gift under Money: it takes the next receipt number
  • Export the gifts as a CSV, the way your treasurer would
Open the appeal

Walk-through 3 · heritage

Walk through sixty years of history.

The heritage pages are the ones alumni forward to each other.

  • The timeline runs from 1966 to the Diamond Jubilee
  • The hall of fame and In Memoriam have pages of their own
  • Signed in as Priya, send an old photo to the archive: it waits for a moderator
Open the history timeline

Whose association is that?

An alumni association we made up.

Sample data in the live demo

Riverside College plans its 15-year reunion

Riverside College, its 130 members and every name in the demo are invented. The software is real; the college is not, and we will never dress sample data up as a customer.

Try it in the demo

Before you judge it

Four things a demo cannot do.

Questions

About the demo.

Are those really the live passwords?

Yes. They are published on purpose, and they change at every nightly reset, so the pair above is good until the next one. The demo is not defended; it is rebuilt.

Can I break it?

Please try. Delete records, rename the college, change every setting. The database and the uploaded files are restored from a snapshot every night, so the worst anyone can do lasts until morning.

Does anything I type reach a real person?

No. Every member of the demo is invented. Anything sent through its forms lands in the demo's own admin inbox, where anyone signed in as the admin can read it until the reset, so please do not type anything private.

Is it the same software we would buy?

Yes. The demo runs the current AlumDeck build, which release 1.1 ships, with sample content and a few optional features switched on so there is more to click. The changelog lists what is in each release.

Why is there no sign-up form or sales call?

Because the price is published and the product is right there. A form would only stand between you and the thing you came to see.

Can we try it on our own hosting first?

The 14-day money-back guarantee covers exactly that. Install it on your host, show it to the committee, and if it is not right, ask for the $49 back within 14 days.

When does it reset?

Every night at 03:20 UTC. The sign-in panel above shows the next reset in your own time zone.

Seen enough? It is $49 a year.

One licence, every feature, unlimited members and admins, and a 14-day money-back guarantee.
